Happy March! Let me be completely stereotypical and talk about how I seriously can’t believe it’s already March. This year is flying by already, and I’m not sure if that’s because I just had a baby or because kids make time go by faster or because it’s just a quick year. Either way, I’m so excited for spring and all the exciting things happening in the next few months.

LOVING: That it’s my birth month! My birthday is March 29th and I can’t wait, for obvious reasons. We are going to Charlotte this weekend (IKEA! And less fun truck stuff for Dom), Ohio the last weekend in March, and I’m hoping we can celebrate the weekend after my birthday at the beach, depending on the weather. Really missing the OBX right about now, but we will probably end up in Wilmington if we go.

READING: This article from Cupcakes & Cashmere. Definitely a little late, but I really liked it. I also love the piece it’s based on from My Domaine. My favorite part? #7. You will make friends all your life. Really resonated with me, especially after the past couple of years.

WATCHING: Girls, season 5. I kind of love Jessa and Adam. Not sure what Marnie is thinking in episode 1, but I’m predicting now that her and Desi are doomed. Also watching Love on Netflix. I wasn’t sure about the first episode, but now I can’t stop. It’s apparently a Judd Apatow sort of season. Also shamelessly watching The Bachelor, no matter how fake I think the entire show is. Can’t decide if I like Lauren B. or JoJo more.

ANTICIPATING: A few things as far as work goes. I’m almost officially launching my business site (even though it’s already live) and have a few other things happening that I’m looking forward to. Site promotion starting soon!

LISTENING TO: Chris Stapleton’s album. How am I just now hearing it? Love it so much.

PLANNING: Trips, work, blog posts, and life changes. I feel like I’m spring cleaning my life again.

WORKING ON: I feel like a broken record, but I’ve been working really hard on some stuff with my work website. I can’t wait to fully launch it here this or next week, depending on how much time I have. I’ve also been working really hard on organizing the house and starting to minimize the amount of stuff we have. It feels so good to get rid of things we no longer use.

WEARING: I haven’t been wearing anything exciting lately, but I did just order three Madewell shirts I’m really excited about.

WISHING: For warm weather. I’m ready for long walks with the kids, beach trips, and barbecues. I also can’t wait for my flowers to bloom and to finish some outside projects Dom and I are looking forward to.

What spring plans do you have?
